So this is a basic dessert sauce that you will see in millions of restaurants around the world. There are of course many variations, you can add cinnamon and other spices or chop some berries through it. However this is a basic recipe that you can use at home.
Frozen berries 800g
Caster sugar 100g
1 juice from a lemon
Simply add all the ingredients into a pot and on a low heat cook until the berries begin to break down and a liquid is present. Then blend with a stick blender. Pass through a chinois (fine sieve) if you don’t like the pips.
Use as required.
