Goat's Cheese and Caramelised Onion Blinis
This is so creamy and delicious with the sharp caramelised onion cutting through the rich goat’s cheese. When buying goats cheese for this recipe make sure it’s the creamy type it may be labelled Buche de chevre if it’s French. Serve on Blinis which you can make or if you haven't got time then you can head to somewhere like Farro and buy boxes of them.
Ingredients – Makes approximately 20 canapés
1 Large red onion, finely sliced
20ml Oil for cooking
50g Brown sugar
10g Yellow mustard seeds
50ml Balsamic vinegar
200g Soft goat’s cheese
